Photographer · Film and digital
Photography began as an art practice and now matters most as a way to remember the people I love and the moments we share.
From 2016 to 2024, I pursued photography as an art form. I worked in both film and digital and, honestly, hoped to become a great photographer. This page preserves the work I published on my photography account; the posts shown here span 2023–2024.
Why I stopped
The project ended when making art and becoming a great photographer no longer felt like honest reasons to take pictures. A landscape can still move me, but I came to believe that much of what makes a human life meaningful comes from our relationships with other people—not our relationships with objects or trees. Photography matters to me differently now: less as a way to turn the world into art, and more as a way to remember the people I love and the moments we share. That shift is part of why I am now building Most Days: to capture the memories I most want to keep and gather them into small books.
